A Little About Me

The Game That Stole My Heart

🎾 Tennis runs in my veins: I’ve been a superfan for as long as I can remember. It all started at age 9, watching Grand Slams at my neighbors’ house and dreaming of the court, inspired by Mary Pierce’s incredible run to the 1994 Roland Garros final. Sadly, flute, piano, equestrian lessons, and a rural upbringing kept me off the court—but the passion never left me.

A late start but never too late: It wasn’t until I turned 30 that I finally picked up a racket. Now, I’m an intermediate player who loves competing in singles and team matches.

🎟️ Tournaments are my happy place: I love going to as many tennis tournaments as possible with Sébastien. Despite his intense training and tournament schedule, we’re planning to discover a few new ones in 2025—stay tuned! I got the idea for the Ultimate Tennis Tour Calendar when I realized there was nothing out there to help keep up with the lengthy, busy and awesome amount of tournaments in the world.

📸 Masters of the selfie: My son, Sébastien, is a pro at snagging selfies with players (150 and counting!). Me? I’m far too shy to ask, even when the opportunity is staring me in the face—though we did manage a brief cameo in Roger Federer’s documentary Twelve Final Days.

🐐 Front-row for greatness: I’ve been lucky enough to see Rafael Nadal win three Grand Slam titles in person—Roland Garros in 2006 and 2018, plus the US Open in 2017. Watching him play live was (😔!) like witnessing history unfold.

🔊 Volume warning required: Beware if you’re nearby while I’m cheering at a live match—I’m loud (though I’m eerily quiet for Sébastien’s matches, he needs his focus and equinanimity). And during a televised match? Distract me at your own peril.

Where Art Meets Tennis

🖥️ My design journey: It all started in 1998 (yes, that makes me sound ancient). What began as a student job designing websites led to a career as a Brand Strategist at a major advertising group before life brought me here.

🎨 Art is my constant companion: While I’ve never been much for sketching, art has always been a passion. Sébastien and I love discovering museums and exhibits during our tennis travels—there’s always inspiration to be found.

👕 Printed T-shirts are my thing: Finding a graphic tee I could actually wear on the court was impossible—so I created my own! The Tennis Fan Store was born to combine style, personality, and the love of the game.

A celebration of tennis culture: My designs honor tennis as more than just a sport. It’s a lifestyle, a mindset, and a cultural icon with a rich history and legendary players who inspire us all.

A Few Fun Quirks

🧢 Obsessed with hats: My tennis cap collection is enormous, and honestly, most people wouldn’t recognize me without one.

📊 A stats nerd at heart: I love statsing Sébastien’s matches using Fabrice Sbarro’s methods. Let’s just say numbers don’t lie, but I might overanalyze them anyway.

🎧 Podcasts are my driving playlist: Tennis podcasts are my go-to soundtrack for the countless hours spent on the road as a tennis mom.

Also...

🤹‍♀️ The eternal multitasker: Somehow, I’ve convinced myself that replying to emails, cooking dinner, and watching a Grand Slam final all at once is a good idea. Spoiler alert: it’s not.

📋 A bit of a control freak: Let’s just say when I delegate something, I have a very strong opinion about how it should be done.

👟 The tennis mom stereotype: Yes, I drive too much, cheer too loudly, and have stored all of Sébastien’s used tennis shoes… for posterity. But hey, that’s the job description, right?
